ABOUT
Evergreen Sound is an indie music festival that takes place at Chambers Bay in Washington State. That state’s main city, Seattle, is known for it’s indie music scene but not many big festivals are held outside of it.

OBJECTIVE
Create a music festival that caters towards 20-30 year olds who enjoy indie music. Develop a color scheme and type system that feels organic to tie into the festival’s nature surroundings.

BRANDING

BEHIND THE NAME

Evergreen is the official tree of Washington State, and ‘Sound’ refers to the location being on the Puget Sound and music audio.

For the wordmark I combined an evergreen tree with music notes as the branches. With the emblem I created a grid that alternates the two shades of green to resemble a forest as the festival takes place near a lot of trees.

For the lineup poster, I scaled up the logo mark and have each brand serve as a different day with the headline artist in the largest text. I utilized pops of colors such as purple, blue, and orange to make the days stand out and represent colors of wildflowers you’d see in nature.
